Shift change at the moment so we can't be in there. Katie opened her eyes at least once - questionable whether it was in response to talk or just a sign of starting to wake up. I think I already posted this, but she also had the hiccups earlier.
We are taking turns going back there and trying to wake her up. All signs continue to be positive; however, there is still so much unknown until she is sufficiently awake to begin responding.
On behalf of our family, I want to thank everyone for the well-wishes, kind words, and steady stream of food and beverage. We have not lacked for support, and I fear have even allowed some very good food to go unused because there has been so much. We've offered some of it also to our fellow families also attending to their loved ones here.
If something significantly changes tonight I will be sure to post it before the night is over.
I don't know you but I will be praying. I survived sudden cardiac arrest almost 3 years ago.
