I am in for the night shift. No big changes besides the good reports from today. Katie gets very frustrated, and tries to talk and waves her hands wildly at times. When the tube is removed, she is going to give us an earful!
After a procedure, or noise in the ward, she seems to be more agitated. After some quiet, she seems to quiet down, and rest peacefully.
I asked Katie if it felt good when her feet were rubbed, and she nodded her head yes. It seemed to calm her when both Vickie and I rubbed her feet.
Tomorrow evening I am going to bring in a white board. I think katie needs something on which we can write big words.
