Her breath test came back at close to 30 but her tidal volume is at 250 I think he said and we need it to be more like 200.
So as I understand the tidal volume is a measurement showing how much she is cycling when breathing. On her current ventilation she is at about 600 I think he said. So as she breaths on her own her body will try to replicate that tidal volume. To accomplish this she breaths faster. But the faster she breathes the lower her tidal volume goes.
30 is an improvement in terms of beats per minute but still not close to where it needs to be for her to control her own breathing.
