Hi all,
I am unable to post on the Katie Update blog but Birdie and I were just over to see Katie and she was happy to see us. You could see her try to smile at us. I asked her to squeeze my hand which she did twice. She was looking out the window and Birdie told her what a nice day it was. She nodded her head and kept looking out. She wanted to try to communicate; she was trying to mouth the words and was trying to use her hand like she wanted to write. Her breathing appeared to be better. Unfortunately, they kicked us out for rounds again.
We missed seeing any family so we wanted to pass this on.
