More Info

Katie will be switched to her regular bed about 10 o'clock AM this morning. Switching her to her regular bed will take some time and require quite a few staff. During that time visitation will be difficult. Immediately after that they plan to give her an MRI. That also will involve a time when visitation is more difficult.

I thought the MRI was to check for trauma to the brain. While checking the brain was not ruled out, the primary purpose of the MRI is to check for soft tissue damage to the neck.

Katie's edema appears less than it has for some days. Her face appears more normal than it has for a few days also.

All in all Katie had a good night. She is increasingly shows small, incremental but positive signs. And there is a good chance that by end of day she will be conscious.
