Unfortunately it was to blink to us that she was in pain. She got some pain medication.
Heather was with me and she opened her eyes again. We asked her to move her toes and she very slightly moved her right toes. A few minutes after she moved her head and when we asked if her arms were uncomfortable she actually nodded slightly! That was the first time I had seen her respond with a nod. Right after that she raised her hands up to her elbows slightly showing movement in both the feet and her arms.
These are good signs and every baby step is an important one.
