Luke and I dropped by Katie's "home" for a short visit. Now, I am taking him to the airport. Sad...
Not much medical news, which is good. They tried to give her some nutrient solution by mouth last night. She couldn't get it down. Not a big deal.
Katie started asking a lot of questions about when and how the incident happened? She was surprised at how long since the incident. She asked if she was a missing person for 2 weeks. She didn't remember that Dr Sharma had performed CPR, and was emotional when told that he had saved her life.
I will be back in the hospital today, and will be taking over again as primary family contact. I don't think I will be staying there overnight anymore, which will make it easier for me to stay on top of developments.
When I left for the airport, Katie asked me not to go. I finally figured out she was asking that Vick and I not to go back to Texas. Well, that isn't going to happen anytime soon!
