Detangled!

Thanks to Mary & Patty for helping get Katie's washed and detangled. I was able to get most if the last of the glue out. So her hair is back to its shiny sweet smelling self. She ended up with visitors most of the day and didn't get much rest. Hope she sleeps well tonight without much interruption.

Wound care came and doesn't think her arm is infected and infectious disease medicine is coming to check her for infection. Can't proceed until that is for sure.

She gets a little stronger every day but is still a little woozy.

So lets get specific on next or prayer warrior request. Her vision is a little blurry and she is having trouble focusing at times. I am sure God isn't through working miracles for Katie yet so let's make that our next thankful request. I still think as soon as we request God shows his power over this situation.

I can't tell you how many Drs and nurses have told us how amazed and happy they are to see Katie back. The cardiologist resident came today and said everyone had been praying for her. The nurse in the ER said they were so happy to know she was good and that everyone seemed to love her. Of course her youth and beauty shook up a lot of her caregivers. The ICU staff said they wanted to charge admission for her visitors!

So, what we all know is true, we love Katie and so do lots of other people
Thank you Jesus!

  1. I would be okay with authorizing God to never (even on the small things) consulting public opinion polls before doing good for my sister. And certainly not considering how many are part of his base versus not voting for him prior to acting on behalf of his entire district.

  2. I adore seeing these pictures of people with Katie...HOWEVER, I have to say that I am TERRIBLY JEALOUS!! :) I wish I could be there too. Love, love, love hearing the news of the latest progress and look forward to seeing Katie.
