Resident update

The resident just called me to do the daily update. Nothing different than what I gleaned from the nurse. A couple specifics though.

They are going to start 10cc/hr of tune feeding again to see if she will absorb it. They are happy with her mental acuity still. They are going to up her antibiotic dosage as her fever was still spiking over night. Her chest X-ray looked about the same as yesterday. A trach is not eminent as they have to beat the infection(s) first. If her lung capacity hasn't come up enough after the infections are gone then they would consider a trach.
